David is an artist with strong interests in oil, acrylic and occasionally watercolour painting.David studied fine art as part of a joint degree course (the other half was in pure maths!) at Aberystwyth University and has since continued to paint in his spare time whilst trying to squeeze in working full-time as a web/software developer.
As much as is possible (i.e. weather permitting!), David prefers to paint and sketch his subject matter on location and work up finished pieces back in the studio.
Recent works have focused upon figurative studies of landscape/architecture in the Gloucestershire region (for which David has a great fondness) together with a series of seascapes.
David has built his own web site (www.davidpilgrimart.co.uk) where his works can be viewed and commissions/purchases can be requested.
