I teach watercolour and drawing skills. My wife (Liz Marsden-King) and I run one day workshops,and weekend outdoor painting courses and sketching weekends. We teach as a team and believe in teaching such a technical medium as watercolour formally; with proper lesson and course preparation. We teach by demonstrating and then offer loads of encouragement and constructive to our students. We believe its essential to build confidence. Between October and May, we teach the one day, monthly workshops in Llandudno. These run from 10am - 4pm and we provide all art materials. Biography
I am a professional teacher of 28 years.I am a self taught watercolour artist and teach watercolour and drawing skills.I have taught art for 14 years, along with my wife, Elizabeth Marsden-King ( please see separate web site). We live and work in both Snowdonia and the South West of France. We walk, sketch and paint on location in many countries; especially enjoying painting scenes of Venice from our several visits there. I also teach professionally, with my wife, for major cruise lines from time to time each year, including a leg from Perth, Australia back to the UK last year. I exhibit at various prestigious venues both in Snowdonia and with eminent regional artists at a gallery in our local town in France.
