Tuition

I hold short and annual courses on Acrylics on Mondays at Brockenhurst Collegs and Tuesday evenings at St Andrews Hall Tiptoe.

I also regularly demonstrate to Art Societies the use of Acrylics in the following topics;

- Forest and Landscapes
- Seascapes
- Animal Portraits
- Skies

The cost of these two hour demonstrations are £150 plus travel

I am usually invited to then conduct workshops following these demonstrations to explore the topic further.

The cost of a 5 hour workshop is normally £200

Biography

Dave White lives just outside the borders of the New Forest and near the Solent coast of Barton on Sea. He studied art at Chester City Grammar School, but got an "E" so they were telling him to do something else and then professionally qualified as an CIMA accountant at Liverpool Polytechnic and became a Finance Director.

When the opportunity came to change tack in 2004, with no intention of pursuing an art career he painted a picture whilst on gardening leave which was greeted with "I like that, could you do" and he hasn't stopped "could you doing" ever since. He rapidly developed his own style having not painted since school, painted his home golf course at Barton and was snapped up by Brockenhurst college as a tutor (Cert Ed 2009)and is now a commissioning artist. His work can be regularly seen at the prestigous Rhinefield House Hotel in the heart of the New Forest where he is the resident artist and he regularly exhibits and demonstrates to Art Societies & Groups (see web site for future dates and those societies successfully delivered). He is now becoming well known for his Animal Portraits having exhibited at Crufts and the Kennel Club since 2009.

He paints in excess of 50 animals a year and operates with 2 years worth of order book.

Dave has just completed his first book called "Ready to Paint; Horses in Acrylics" with Search Press, due to be published worldwide in January 2013
