I have taught painting and drawing for nearly forty years, the earlier years through schools including being Head of Art in secondary education. For over twelve years I have taught adults through Local Authority provision. I am now self employed, working as a professionl artist and teaching adult groups at a variety of venues. I teach all styles of Drawing, Watercolour, Acrylics, Pastels, also silk painting and batik, etc. I encourage exploration of materials, techniques and developing personal style. I'm often invited as a visiting tutor to private art groups and regularly tutor Art holidays in England and abroad.
