I have been painting in oils and watercolours for about 20 years now. I specialise in painting outdoors 'En Plein Air' but also paint in the studio on larger works. Subject matter is mainly landscapes, cityscapes and the coastline. I travel regularly and always have a sketchbook and small watercolour kit with me. As well as running painting workshops I previously lectured and judged on the photography circuit in North East England before my move to Scotland. Much of my studio work comes from a extensive library of images from around the UK and overseas. I have been fortunate to have painted with Joseph Zbukvic and Alvaro Castagnet in the past, both masters of the watercolour art and from whom I learned a lot. Member Dunfermline Art Club and Dalgety Bay Art Club. Member UK Plein Air Society.
