It is from my love of horse's, dogs and the country life that I get my inspiration for my painting. I am fortunate to live in an interesting area with lovely countryside and coastlines on my door step. Every day I walk my dogs around fields and tracks nearby, or on the beach where I love to watch the sun come up. I carry my digital camera at all times so that I can absorb the moment and then capture my subjects. Much of my work is done this way. I am a qualified Further Education tutor but I moved away from formal education and paper pushing and now run successful, busy, informal classes and workshops.
