My name is Carol Price and I was born in the UK and live in the North of England. I am mostly a self-taught artist and have been drawing and painting since I was quite young.
I am a member of The Society for all Artists, a society that has given me great encouragement and inspiration since becoming a member. I am also a member of The UK Coloured Pencil Society.
I have also completed a Pet Portraiture Diploma course with the London Art College and was awarded a pass with distinction.
My paintings are in collections throughout the UK, Ireland, U.S.A., and Australia.
My preferred mediums are watercolours, watercolour pencils, graphite pencils, encaustic wax pigment and occasionally pen and wash.
I like to use clear bright colours for the subjects that I paint, which are mainly landscapes, floral, birds, cats, dogs, still life, wildlife, seascapes and portraits.
I hope you enjoyed your visit and hope you will visit again sometime in the future, as I will be updating at regular intervals.
I will have three of my watercolour paintings displayed at The Liverpool Academy of Arts Christmas Open 2012. The exhibition runs from 20th November 2012-13th December 2012 Tuesday to Saturday, 12 to 4pm.
