Tuition

My art courses are called "Enjoy Art" as thats exactly what I want my students to do. I teach materials and techniques because I believe, as artists we need to know how to use the tools of our trade in order to express our creativity. I plan my courses so that each lesson stands on its own, and gradually builds knowledge and confidence. Some of my students now have large port folios of work and are entering exhibitions regularly.

 

Biography

I have been an artist for many years and have work in private collections in the UK, Australia, USA and France. I have been a qualified tutor since 1998. I write and teach courses at the Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham, Hampshire. I also run regular workshops, trips and holidays, as well as demonstrating to various groups. I have been an artist in residence on several occasions in a number of schools. My recent project includes working closely with galleries in Cornwall to allow artist's from both counties to work together.

 

Exhibitions

At the moment I have several small original watercolours of Solent scenes and small canvas' exhibited and for sale at Frameworks Gallery in Lee-on-the-Solent.
