Figure drawing has always been the traditional cornerstone of any art training. The human figure offers every challenge - line, shape, tone, colour, perspective and composition. This friendly group welcomes beginners, students & experienced artists.
Draw from professional life models with the help of artist/illustrator Julie Scott. Bring along any materials you wish : charcoal, pencil, pastels, paint etc to explore ideas and improve your observation & techniques. You will find a relaxed informal atmosphere & a wonderful way to improve your drawing skills.

Julie Scott has over twenty years experience as a professional artist & illustrator.
She has been commissioned by most UK publishers, illustrating over one hundred bookjackets for authors ranging from Noel Streatfeild, TerryDeary, Jamila Gavin, Enid Blyton & James Herriot.
Other clients include The Sunday Times Magazine, Singapore Airlines, Royal Life Insurance, British Telecom, ICI, and Teachers Whisky.
Julie is author/illustrator of two children's books, and exhibits her professional & personal work around the UK.
Her paintings, like her books, are finding their way around the world, from Ambleside to Australia, from New York to New Zealand. She regularly paints on location, favourite places include Cumbria & Italy.
