I started painting when I moved to the Highlands of Scotland in 2004. I find the unique landscape an inspiration for all my work. I am a self taught artist and through membership of local art societies I have been fortunate to exhibit and sell my work. The art societies that I belong to are the Society of Badenoch & Strathspey Artists and the Creative Cairngorms. Although I do not have an art degree I am currently studying towards a degree in Art History, through the Open University, with whom I already have a first degree in the Social Sciences. I hope in the not to distant future to set up my own studio and small gallery.
