Hello and welcome to my Portfolio.
I run regular classes in and around Fleet in Hampshire, for those who are new to drawing and painting, those who have some experience and would like to develop their work and those who would like to try new media. Students who are starting from the beginning will have a basic grounding in drawing, progressing to line and wash, monocolour and then full colour. These classes are of two hours duration and run for blocks of ten weeks.
Saturday workshops are of six hours duration and deal with a specific subject matter or technique. Dates and times will be available over the next few weeks.
Biography
From my earliest memories I have been creative, always drawing, painting, designing and making.
My approach to painting is open but strongly representative of the subject. Works are execucuted engaging various techniques to convey beauty, mood and movement, from rich colours to soft delicate tones, using broad to fine brush strokes with soft washes or a combination of media.
