I have given workshops and demonstrations in mixed media and watercolour and am available to give both locally, ie. in the mid Cheshire area. I now have my own studio and am available for one to one tuition or for small groups of up to 3 people at a time.

Biography
Jean Briers
is a self taught artist specialising in the natural world. She paints mainly in watercolours, mixed media and oils and paints animals in the landscape, pure landscapes,flowers and pets, in particular dogs.
She is involved in Greyhound charities so many of her dog portraits are of these beautiful animals, but she also undertakes comissions for any breed.
She aims to produce sensitive depictions of her subjects expressing the beauty of nature.
She is available for demonstrations and workshops.

Awards
I had a painting chosen to be in the Simply the Best exhibition at the N.E.C. Birmingham, the national competition run by Leisure Painter magazine.
I was a runner up in Leisure Painter magazine's online wildlife painting competition.
