Andrea Farmer is a contemporary fine artist from Chelmsford, Essex, England - specialising in abstract and land art.
In 1991, Andrea graduated from Havering College of Further & Higher Education with a BTEC ND in Graphic Design and A' Level Graphic Design. In 1993, she graduated from the Kent Institute of Art and Design with a HND in Graphic Design and Illustration.
Landscape painting is Andrea's passion and she has recently expanded on this to include a collection of Essex coastal scenes. These paintings are inspired by her love of landscape, nature and travel - themes that reoccur throughout her work. She favours a vivid use of colour - oil, ink and mixed media remain her preferred mediums. Gold and silver leaf also feature in many of her artworks adding opulence to her unique style of painting.
